Leo has grown Life Settlement Advisors, LLC from a traditional insurance business in 1994 into a successful company that's focused on the new and exciting secondary life insurance market.
Leo graduated from Ball State University in 1985 with a B.S. in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. Before starting the insurance business, he worked in a family-run company where his responsibilities included operational management of food distribution, railroad salvage, and real estate. He has also been involved with institutional catering, retail sales, and wholesale operations. His professional accomplishments include the Ball State University Emerging Entrepreneurial Award in 1990.
Leo is widely recognized as an expert on life settlements. He has authored articles on the life settlement industry in publications and for organizations such as the Indianapolis Business Journal, Vistage International, Hoosier Banker, Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF), Financial Planning Association (FPA), and is a frequent speaker on the subject.
In addition to his role as President and CEO of Life Settlement Advisors, Leo devotes his spare time to organizations such as the Mother Theodore Catholic Academies, Cathedral High School's Starfish Initiative, and Missionaries of Charity. Leo is currently a Trust Committee Chair at the Indiana Bankers Association (IBA) and serves on the Boards at the Indianapolis Estate Planning Council, Mother Theodore Catholic Academies, and Cathedral High School Fund.
